Venture further along the riverbanks to the towpaths of the Caledonian Canal. Of an evening why not catch a show at the nearby Eden Court Theatre and treat yourself to a pre-theatre meal. There is a selection of eateries on the Riverside serving irrestible food.

Further a field, but easily accessible by public transport, are the many visitor attractions including historic Cawdor Castle, set in beautiful grounds. Travel to Aviemore and take the funicular railway to the top of Cairngorm Mountain and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the National Park below. Perhaps play golf on Championship Courses at Dornoch and Nairn
